Interview Hub connects talent, publicists, and media. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use about.interviewhub.co and related services.

01Information we collect

Identifiers
Name, email, company, job title, and details you submit through interview, directory, or contact forms.
Usage data
Search and browsing activity (via Algolia and Shopify analytics), IP address, and device or browser type.
Payment info
Processed securely by Shopify and Stripe. We do not store full payment details on our servers.
Communications
Messages you send us and submissions made through connected forms or integrations.

02How we use information

  • Publish interview opportunities and directory listings.
  • Let media contact publicists without exposing direct contact information publicly.
  • Send newsletters and product updates — opt-in only.
  • Improve search quality, reliability, and platform safety.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
What we don't do: we don't sell your data, we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't send unsolicited email.

We use essential and functional cookies to operate search and improve experience. We don't use third-party advertising cookies and we don't track you across other sites.

05Automated processing

We may use automated tools to surface relevant interview opportunities, match publicists with press opportunities, and detect spam or abuse. These systems assist our team but do not make consequential decisions about you without human review. You can contact us to request human review of any automated outcome that affects you.

06Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

07Your rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your data.
  • Export a portable copy of your data.
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time.
  • California residents (CPRA): opt out of sale or sharing — we don't sell or share — and limit use of sensitive data, which we don't collect.

08Legal basis (EU/UK)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data based on your consent (newsletters, submissions), contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), and legal obligations.

09International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our vendors operate. Where required, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk of the data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you as required by law.

11Children

Our services aren't directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law requires a higher age. We don't knowingly collect data from children, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, sent by email.
